Part art gallery, part bed & breakfast. An unusual combination as well as a brilliant idea from the founders of  The Proposal, a young and interesting art gallery in Zurich.

 

The name comes from the gallery’s original concept: showcasing 6 different art concept proposals over a given time period of time (from last November till next May).

 

Proposal number 3 will be debuting on February 16.

But the most amazing part of it all is that during the exhibitions there are two one-of-a-kind b&b accomodations available for anyone who wishes to try them: a Peugeot j7 bus from 1977  (which according to previous guests is unbelievably comfortable)  and a bedroom situated in a separate room in the gallery itself.

 

Included in the rate are welcome and goodbye drinks, a huge breakast and a couple of bikes to tour the city. Along with the unique chance to spend a night at the gallery.
