And it’s for free!
Sometimes you don’t need to pay a fortune to see the wonders of the world. We’re not suggesting that you travel with your fantasy, although some writers of the past managed to circumnavigate the whole world on board of a lively imagination.
The truth is you can visit many a legendary sights without bothering to pay the ticket, simply because there’s no ticket at all. If the sight in question happens to be in Mumbai, like the Gateway of India (see picture above) or in Casablanca, like the Mosquée Hassan II, you might need to pay for the journey.
But once you’re there, you can rest assured that you won’t have to spend any more money. Take BBC’s word for it and check out their website for a nice list of free attractions that are indisputably superior to others, like St Peter’s Basilica in Rome and Notre Dame in Paris.
Bon voyage!
