Aging gracefully
Fifty years ago, in 1962, the first James Bond movie, Dr. No, hit the cinemas .
The protagonist of that film, Scottish actor Sean Connery, is still the first face that comes to our mind when we think of Ian Fleming‘s fictional hero .
An undying movie and style icon, agent 007 keeps surviving the decades with unbelievable casualness, despite changing appearance and situations.
Obviously, many events have been launched since the end of last year to celebrate this major cinematic anniversary.
The National Motor Museum in Beaulieu, Hampshire, is holding an exhibition featuring the sometimes implausible vehicles used in the James Bond saga.
In London, the double-decker James Bond Tour takes visitors to the locations featured in many of the Bond films and reveales little-known facts about his creator, writer Ian Fleming.
And if you’d rather celebrate at home, have yourself a long movie session watching the complete film collection or try and guess the movie titles hidden behind Bryan Lenning‘s funny logos designed for Superpunch‘s James Bond art contest.
