The Pink Floyd Remastered
A brand new remastered edition of the band’s discography, including tons of unreleased music and videos. That’s the huge surprise awaiting all Pink Floyd fans and admirers after the summer holidays, starting from September.
After many years of wait, the complete works of one of the most legendary rock bands ever have been the object of a massive campaign. Under the name of Why Pink Floyd, all the studio albums have been newly remastered and will be available as single discs or collectors’ box sets.
As for the three great albums of the Seventies – The Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here and The Wall – there will be two different deluxe editions for each of them.
The first release is scheduled for September 26, when the remastered discography’s box set and CDs will be out along with the deluxe editions of The Dark Side Of The Moon.
The Experience Edition will include two discs featuring the original album and the recording of its 1974 live perfomance in Wembley. The Immersion Edition is a six-disc set including live recordings, demos and a documentary.
November 7 will be the release date for the deluxe editions of Wish You Were Here: Experience, including some live recordings and an unreleased track, and Immersion, a collection of alternative mixes, documentaries amìnd live recordings.
Finally, on February 27, 2012, the Experience and Immersion editions of the legenday rock opera The Wall will be on sale –  the details are still uncertain, but the Experience Edition might include the album’s demos.
