Rumours have been spreading for months, but now we finally have the dates and the location for the first huge food and wine event of 2012, Milano Food & Wine Festival. 

 

Created by Helmuth Köcher, founding director of Merano WineFestival, from February 4 to 6 – along with the Identità Golose chef congress – this brand new event will bring to the city of Milano the largest temporary restaurant of the world.

 

Its 1,400 square meters will host 100 among the best Italian wine producers and 20 award-winning chefs from around the world selected by Paolo Marchi, founder of Identità Golose.

 

Of course, all visitors will have the chance to taste the wines and to try the recipes, all of which will be cooked live in the open kitchens by the guest chefs.
