“Futurperspectives” is the meaningful title of this year’s edition, that will involve a new location – MACRO Testaccio – along with an important group of galleries.
In ‘Bumpy Ride’, contemporary photographers imagine how the future might appear, through digital and film photography. The ‘Maps and legends’ project ambitiously aims at mapping a territory that’s constantly evolving, picturing a cartography in progress, where photography meets the Web. Finally, the future of photography can be traced through unpublished works, featured in the ‘Unpublished – Unknown’ section: what’s the actual grade of existence of an unpublished photgraph?
Along with the main exhibitions, the programme includes several awards, projects by the most prestigious international academies and the debut of the European Photography Month’s new production. An event not to be missed by photography lovers.
