D for Dirty Dancing, L for Labyrinth, R for Rambo, Z for Zelig. It’s the 1980s Film Alphabeth by British artist, designer and illustrator Stephen Wildish, a guy with a great sense of humour  and “a habit of collecting and ordering things”

 

The peculiarity of these prints lies in the clean and colorful graphic style as well as in the challenge to guess which movie corresponds to which letter and illustration (not every letter is the initial of the film title…).

 

In other words, it’s a funny way to recall the movies and the icons that defined an era – and a great gift for film lovers. Check out the 1960s, 1970s, 1990s and 2000s film alphabets a well.  All prints are for sale on Redbubble.
