Nolita, or “North of Little Italy”. The small neighborhood bordered by SoHo, Little Italy, Chinatown, the Bowery and the Lower East Side that was long regarded as part of Little Italy, is now one of Manhattan’s hippest spots, boasting some of New York City’s hippest boutique stores, restaurants and cafes while preserving a pleasantly authentic atmosphere.

This summer, Nolita’s high reputation has been further confirmed by the opening of neighborhood’s first luxury boutique hotel, whose name and style celebrate its much acclaimed location.

With 55 rooms of eight different types designed by Grzywinski+Pons, The Nolitan has pretty much everything you can expert from this kind of hotel – unostentatious elegance, huge windows overlooking the city, exposed concrete, retro fittings, and design pieces…

Yet, what makes it quite unique is the (successful) attempt to turn every room into some kind of stylish dream apartment, making you feel – even if just for a few days – as though as you actually lived there. Just like a Nolitan.
