SICILIAN STYLE FAST FOOD
Forget Ronald Mc Donald’s. According to the legend, the fast-food formula was born in Sicily. Ever since 1835, the specialties of Focacceria San Francesco – panelle, sfincioni and “pani ‘ca meusa” – have delighted the palates of passing visitors and famous clients such as Giuseppe Garibaldi. The tradition goes on in Palermo (via Paternostro) and Milan (via San Paolo).
