It’s not an aggregator, it’s not a social network, it’s not an on-demand content service. Yet, it has something of each of these.

CircleMe is an all-italian project about to come true. The idea is quite simple: collecting all your true likes in just one place on the web. To keep track of it, to share it with our friends and to connect with like-minded people.

There are many fitting examples. Have you ever wanted to share a good movie with a friend of yours? Did it ever happen that you couldn’t recall that great restaurant where you once had dinner?  Would you love to know when your favorite rock band is coming to town?

To help the system become familiar with your preferences and suggest new information, contents and like-minded users, all you need to do is import your favorites from other services or use the “like” button.

The idea of collecting your contents, contacts and useful information in one place is certainly tempting.

As for its effectiveness, we shall have to wait for the beta version of CircleMe. In the meantime, check out the story on Wired.it for more information.
