If you love to travel and seek direct contact with nature, but don’t want to give up the pleasure of a hotel stay, this new trend from Northern Europe and America might be just what you are looking for. Glamping might seem an excellent compromise between the freedom of camping and the comfort of a luxury hotel, but the latest evolution is the Bubble Hotel.
The rooms are futuristic, transparent bubbles, located in some of the most beautiful places on the planet, where you can relax while admiring breath-taking views and listening to the sound of the sea or forests.
The idea is to provide guests with total comfort and maximum interaction with the surrounding environment, with the lowest possible expenditure of energy and materials: the rooms are made of recycled plastic and are “inflated” with a turbine that allows air to recirculate, then filters it and adjusts the humidity level, keeping the temperature inside the bubble pleasant all year round.
Although recent, this phenomenon has spread to the four corners of the globe.
Here’s our selection of some of the best.
