L’Arbre Blanc is a tree-inspired high-rise block of flats, designed by the studio of Japanese architect Sōsuke “Sou” Fujimoto, in collaboration with Nicolas Laisné, Dimitri Roussel, Manal Rachdi and a team of young French architects of the OXO Architectes studio. Unveiled in 2019, it has become the landmark of the new district of the historical university town of Montpellier.
The city centre of Montpellier is located at 10 km only from the Mediterranean coastline and can be reached from Paris by TGV in 3.5 hours approximately.
Completed in July 2019, after countless 3D simulations, L’Arbre Blanc stems from the concept of a tower condominium with a common area for residents and the general public.
