The tangle of trunks of the structure in fact brings to mind the transport of those trunks that are still cut in the forest and delivered to the coast by the river current.
At the center of the circular body there is a courtyard which, in addition to the public areas, offers a thermal bath en plein air, for a truly Scandinavian experience: the water temperature is set at 4° centigrade.
Like all Scandinavian hotels, the hotel pays close attention to spa services, with saunas, indoor and outdoor pools and showers, chromotherapy, massage rooms and gym. But what makes this hotel truly magical is the possibility of seeing the northern lights from the comfort of the rooms. The rooms, selected for decor and eco materials, are twelve in all, separate from the "nest" although also laid on the water, which is why they are accessed via wooden bridges. The rooms are divided into three categories: "Land", a 62-square-meter lodge for five people, with a spiral staircase leading to a mezzanine; «Water»,much smaller, with a total of 24 square meters, are designed for two people; «Suite», which although 62 square meters are designed for only two people. The access bridge is also a place for meditation, for morning coffee or simply for relaxing and enjoying the natural setting all around.
Prices? Around 800 euros per night, with fluctuations depending on the season and requirements.
