From here you go into what is for some lesser Italy: secondary roads, villages, woods, perched monasteries, hidden gulfs, unusual and surprising panoramas. The way finishes at the Cathedral of Reggio Calabria.
There is some unmissable stops along the way, including the enchanting village of Civita, in the heart of the Pollino National Park and the Gola del Raganello nature reserve, the fascinating megaliths of the Giants of the Invalicata di Campana, in the shape of a warrior and an elephant and the village of Gerace, one of the 20 most beautiful in Italy. Accommodation is in monasteries, castles, B&Bs and homestays.
A website is under construction from which you will be able to download GPS tracks and consult guides to the areas involved, as well as all the information on the accommodation at each the stage.
