TRICOCHINO, THE CHINO ACCORDING TO INCOTEX

Basic but sophisticated, unique and yet timeless, the Tricochino is one of the staples of the Incotex FW collections

egardless of the season, the “chino” is the definite and undisputed star of smart casual menswear. The name chino, which is simply the Spanish word for “Chinese”, surfaced in the 1890s during the Spanish-American war, referring to the uniforms worn by US Army soldiers made with a hardwearing fabric produced in China. With time, these simple uniform slacks emancipated from the military world to enter civilian society thanks to an ideal combination of style, comfort and sturdiness - just the perfect qualities for smart casual trousers.
